First off, let's understand All-Ceramics, and the nomenclature, so we can clear any confusion you may have.  All-Ceramics is easily defined as anything that is metal-free.  The properties and strength for All-Ceramics varies however, and currently under a lot of discussion.  Research is in high gear on the different strengths among All-Ceramic restorations.  For the last couple years, the Lava/YZ coping has been the leader when it comes to strength, but now with monolithic (E.max LT and HT) crowns, it appears to be changing.  The confusion in what is stronger lies between the substructure and the porcelain.  Think of it like this, you have the Lava substructure (white coping on the left) and the actual porcelain.  The area between the porcelain and coping is considered the weakest point among all restorations.  This interface is what everyone in the All-Ceramic world is paying attention too.  It doesn't matter how strong the substructure (coping) is if the porcelain or interface is really weak.

Now here comes the solution, an all-ceramic crown with no interface and no porcelain.   It's E.max LT (low translucent) and HT (high translucent), and if you bond these in place correctly, some research is showing that it may be stronger than many PFM's because of it's monolithic nature.  A proper prep, which can be as simple as a small chamfer on any posterior is fine and something we at Patriot Dental Laboratory wouldn't mind warranting at all.  Occlusal reduction is a must and 1.5mm occlusal clearance would have to be achieved for proper strength.   Now some Dentists have and use Cerec, which is very similar, however, in the lab, we can do so much more with these type of crowns.  This area of Dentistry is always changing, even from day to day, for more up to date and complete information, please don't hesitate to talk to a representative from Patriot Dental Laboratory.
