Patriot Dental Laboratory is a Advanced Certified Captek Laboratory. We have been using Captek for over a decade now. We have spent many hours learning our Captek technique and becoming Advanced Certified to provide the best Captek restorations to you and your patient. Speaking of your patient, Captek is the most biocompatible restoration out there on the market. We've personally seen 6mm periodontal pockets actually regenerate tissue to become 3mm pockets. Captek has to be one of our favorite restorations as a laboratory to fabricate and send to a Dentist. The color and esthetics with D.Sign porcelain is unparallel to anything on the market. If you're looking for something very esthetic pleasing and healthy for your patient, Captek is your restoration. Even our own technicians prefer to have a Captek restoration than anything else placed into their mouth because of the color and biocompatibility of Captek. |

Are you doing implants or thinking about a large span bridge for your patient? Captek has now advanced technology with Captek Nano Bridge and Implant material specifically for doing such cases for your patients. Now you can take advantage of Captek's biocompatibility and it's color when doing Implants and your large span bridges. We at Patriot Dental Laboratory have done many large anterior span bridges and we can't express to you how much the patients absolutely fall in love with these type of restorations. The best part is if you think your patient loved it, just wait till you do a one year recall and see how the tissue has reacted. |

Many Dentists in the industry love Captek or hate it. We've come to the realization that if you hate it, it's because some laboratory made you a Captek crown that was most likely not prepped correctly or wasn't the Captek material, some fake material. We have done thousands of Captek crowns and always warranty our product. We and you don't have problems because of are strict standards of allowing a case to be suitable for Captek. We actually will call you if the prep does not have enough clearance or the axial walls are not prepped accordingly and inform you that Captek is not going to be suitable with this case. The preparation for Captek must have at least 2mm occlusal clearance or it will not be considered for a Captek restoration. This is where other labs have most likely gone ahead and made a Captek crown for you and it fractured. Don't let your heart be troubled, Patriot Dental Lab doesn't have fractures because Captek is a very soft substructure, it get's its strength from the porcelain and we make sure their is enough room for porcelain. This is why 2mm occlusal clearance is so important to a successful restoration for your patient. If you like marginal integrity, you can't do any better than a Captek crown with a metal margin. You will be able to easily burnish the metal margin perfectly because the Captek substructure is so soft. Anterior metal linguals can also be achieved where you have very little incisal reduction. Captek has recently came out with Nano technology for large span bridges and implants. We have done large span bridges and implants using this Nano technology and have had great results. We've actually even gone as far as doing a screw retained captek crown over a implant abutment with the screw retained access hole in the Captek as well. Nano technology opens up another avenue in our road to perform a very esthetic pleasing restoration but still remain strong enough. If you hated Captek before, do yourself a favor, just try a Captek crown with us, you won't be disappointed. At worst, you can say you tried a Captek restoration from the best lab out there that does Captek. |

What is Captek Captek is a unique “composite metal” or often referred to as an “internally reinforced gold” material which is ideal for crown and bridge restorations. Capillary Technology is used to combine the benefits of gold and the benefits of platinum and palladium in the same system. The hard particles of platinum and palladium are arranged like a skeleton or a metal sponge. The gold is drawn in and through that sponge during the fabrication process. The result is a thin gold coping that is internally reinforced with a skeleton of hard, rigid, thermally stable particles. This is the only material of its kind. It is NOT a cast alloy. It is NOT a foil. |
