Empress Esthetic Veneers are a very esthetic pleasing pressable porcelain veneer. If you're looking to give your patient an LVI Smile makeover, you've come to the right place. Our Technician is a Las Vegas Institute (LVI) Certified Technician. This Technician has spent many weeks and hours on the fabrication of learning how to do Empress Veneers esthetically correctly. Ten unit veneers have become the norm for our technician, however doing a single veneer must take just the amount of time and dedication to match the adjacent teeth. The picture on the right shows how you can close diastemas amongst your patients mouth. If you're trying to close spaces, please note, that you must prep to the lingual surfaces of the mesial and distal. We highly suggest anything over three veneers should have a Diagnostic or Anatomical wax up completed before prepping. If you decide to have a Diagnostic or Anatomical wax up done, you will receive a wax up, a putty matrix of the wax up to be used for your temporaries, a clear suck down stint for you to use while prepping to make sure you've prepped enough per the wax up, and any detailed prepping information from the Technician to yourself. Empress Veneers are very esthetic pleasing and let the Dentist be conservative on his prep. If you have any questions about doing Empress Veneers or diagnostic planning for such a case, please don't hesitate to contact us. |

Empress Esthetic is not only used for veneers, we've done many successful MOD inlays and even full coverage onlays. With correct bonding procedures, these type of restorations will last a lifetime. Please note that some veneers can be very thin (0.7mm) due to the prep and should be handled carefully during bonding. We suggest using Variolink (Ivoclar) for bonding all of our veneers. Ivoclar has gone to great lengths to make sure you can achieve an accurate bonding of all it's veneers. The most important requirements for prepping are that a very well defined chamfer margin or preferably a shoulder margin is achieved with no undercuts on your axial walls. Please keep in mind, that some of the color of a Empress Esthetic Veneer comes from the prepped tooth. With that in mind please take a stump shade and understand if the prep is dark, their is no way you can achieve a real light shade. The only suggestion we have for this problem is to do a preferred shade resin bonded build up over your prepped tooth. If you have any questions about Empress Veneers, don't worry, we are more than happy to walk you through the correct procedure and achieve the correct esthetics for your patient. |
